Dar asta nu l-a oprit pe Dr. Robert Cialdini sa continue sa o imbogateasca si sa o rafineze pe baza cercetarilor de ultima ora din domeniu. Si a reusit sa scrie un material care va fi deopotriva iubit de cei care nu au citit editiile precedente, dar si de cei care le-au citit deja. Da, da! Mai ales acestia din urma vor devora pagina dupa pagina, incantati de noutatile pe care le aduce aceasta editie extinsa si actualizata. O parte din noutati vine de la bogatia de analize si studii de caz privind modul in care functioneaza in mediul online tacticile de influenta sociala (pentru ca noi toti aflam pe pielea noastra, zi de zi, ca retelele sociale si site-urile de comert electronic au adoptat invatamintele stiintei persuasiunii!). O alta parte vine de la utilizarea sporita a notelor finale astfel incat cititorul sa poate gasi referinte folositoare catre rapoarte de cercetare suplimentare si lucrari conexe cu descrieri esentiale. Dar cea mai semnificativa noutate este adaugarea unui al saptelea Principiu Universal al Influentarii - Unitatea. ntr-un capitol dedicat este documentat modul in care indivizii devin remarcabil mai susceptibili la influenta unei per- soane care transmite un mesaj daca pot fi convinsi ca aceasta impartaseste cu ei un punct de vedere personal semni- ficativ sau o identitate sociala. Sunt incluse numeroase studii de caz si concluzii relevante ale cercetarilor lui, cu acelasi amestec de observatii de o mare finete psihologica, si relatari pline de miez ce l-au facut celebru pe autor. Cu aceasta carte drept ghid, vei invata sa navighezi cu succes prin lumea noastra tot mai complexa pentru ca nu trebuie sa fii om de stiinta ca sa iti insusesti Principiile Universale ale Influentarii: Reciprocitatea, Angajamentul si Consecventa, Dovada Sociala, Simpatia, Autoritatea, Raritatea, Influenta Instantanee si Unitatea. Folosind relatari memorabile si exemple cu care este usor sa empatizezi, Cialdini face surprinzator de usor de inteles un subiect de importanta cruciala, astfel incat tu sa poti deveni persuasiv - si, la fel de important! -, sa inveti cum sa te protejezi impotriva tentativelor de influentare lipsite de etica. Atunci cand nu intelegi aceste principii, este mult mai posibil sa-ti cedezi puterea (sau banii!) unor persoane lipsite de scrupule, dar cu temeinice cunostinte de psi- hologie umana. In calitate de vorbitor, scriitor si trainer, Dr. Cialdini si-a castigat o reputatie mondiala pentru capacitatea sa de a transpune stiinta in informatii deopotriva antrenante, valoroase si memorabile.
