The plant part used for the assay, the method of extraction, methods of assay, antioxidant activity and the flavonoids and phenolic composition of each and every species are given. A Table giving a list of plants in which antioxidant activity has been investigated is given. Name of the species, family, part used and the reference is listed. References on antioxidant activity are given at the end enhance the utility of the book.
