En conséquence, les propriétés des polymères changent : la résistance mécanique et l'élasticité diminuent, la fragilité apparaît, la couleur change, la surface lisse devient rugueuse, etc. À l'heure actuelle, les principales matières premières utilisées pour la production d'antioxydants dans le monde sont les amines et les hydroxylamines aromatiques, à faible et à fort poids moléculaire, les amines d'acides gras, les alcools à fort poids moléculaire, les bases de quinoléine, les imidazolines, les dérivés de la thiourée, l'urotropine, les composés contenant du phosphore, ainsi que les sous-produits de la production de caoutchouc synthétique, de la cokéfaction et de la pétrochimie. En raison de la demande croissante d'antioxydants appliqués, il devient extrêmement important de créer des produits à partir de nouvelles matières premières, sur la base d'une technologie de pointe. Pour résoudre ce problème, il est devenu nécessaire de synthétiser des antioxydants oligomères dotés d'une combinaison de propriétés précieuses et utiles, de développer la nanotechnologie pour la production d'inhibiteurs oligomères en utilisant de nouvelles matières premières comme base.
