Inklusion in Schulen und Kindergärten ist ein viel diskutiertes Thema und wird mehr und mehr auch praktisch umgesetzt. Doch was geschieht nach der Schule mit Jugendlichen, die einen Förderbedarf haben. Wie können diese ihren Eintritt in das Arbeitsleben selbstbestimmter gestalten? Und wie finden sie entsprechend ihrer Wünsche und Fähigkeiten einen regulären Arbeitsplatz, anstatt in eine Werkstatt für Menschen mit Behinderung einzutreten?In diesem Buch werden zunächst verschiedene Ausbildungs- und Arbeitsmöglichkeiten für Menschen mit Behinderung vorgestellt. Anschließend wird untersucht, inwieweit das Verfahren der ,Personenbezogenen Planung' den Jugendlichen helfen kann, ihre Wünsche und Vorstellungen zu entwickeln und mit Hilfe von unterstützenden Personen umzusetzen. Hierzu wurde eine Gruppe von Jugendlichen befragt, die an einem Projekt der Lüneburger Assistenz gGmbH teilnahmen, und sich im Prozess des Berufseintritts befanden.
