We geloven daarom dat we door het wekken van zelfvertrouwen en motivatie dicht bij het bereiken van de onderwijsdoelen kunnen zijn. De uitdaging in deze reflectie is om de Engelse taal te onderwijzen met behulp van de Engelse woorden die in Citshwa aanwezig zijn als een motiverende strategie. Dit betekent dat de moedertaal van de student in het onderwijsproces wordt gewaardeerd. Als de student de waardering voor zijn of haar identiteit opmerkt, ontwikkelt hij of zij zelfvertrouwen in het leren van de Engelse taal. De Engelse woordenschat die in de Citshwa aanwezig is, mits correct onderzocht en geassocieerd met creativiteit, versterkt de motivatie en wekt de nieuwsgierigheid en interesse, essentiële elementen voor duurzaam leren.
