The goal of this book is to provide a critical assessment of the new trends in the field of solid state chemical sensor, by describing their working principle and various applications. Volume 1 includes descriptions of solid state sensors such as conductometric or resistive gas sensors, Schottky- , FET-, capacitance-, and pyroelectric- type chemical sensors. Pellistors, mass sensitive and acoustic-wave sensors are the objects for analysis as well. Approaches used for chemical sensors micro-fabrication and integration are discussed in present volume as well.
