For each application, there is a discussion on the material’s performance and impact on the device parameters along with consideration of barriers and opportunities for commercial translation. About the Author Dr. Naveen Kumar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry at Maharshi Dayanand University at Rohtak, India. His primary research includes phosphor materials, composite materials, and anodic oxide materials. Dr. Bernabe Mari Soucase is a Professor at the Department of Applied Physics at the University Politecnica de Valencia at Valencia, Spain. He is the principal investigator of the optoelectronics and semiconductor research team where their primary lines of investigation include doping of semiconductors by neutron transmutation, optical and electrical properties of III-V and III-VI semiconductors and the development of semiconductor devices. Ghenadii Korotcenkov received his Ph.D. in Physics and Technology of Semiconductor Materials and Devices in 1976, and his Doctor Habilitate Degree in Physics and Mathematics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics in 1990. Long time he was a leader of scientific Gas Sensor Group and manager of various national and international scientific and engineering projects carried out in Laboratory of Micro- and Optoelectronics, Technical University of Moldova, supported from International Foundations and Programs such as CRDF, MRDA, IREX, ICTP, INTAS, INC
