He is also the Dean of the Department of Materials Engineering and Computer Application, HUST, and the Deputy Director of State Key Laboratory of Materials Processing and Die & Mould Technology. He has a Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology (China) (2002) and finished his postdoctoral research at Nagoya University (Japan). He is the Vice President of the China Society for Technology of Plasticity, the President of the Plasticity Engineering Society of Hubei Province, and the Vice President of Automobile Engineering Society of Hubei Province. He has published more than 150 journal papers and books and been granted more than 20 patents. Prof. X.Y. Wang has hosted three National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, three National Science and Technology Major Projects, and several Enterprise Cooperation Projects. Dr. Mao Zhang is an Associate Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). After receiving his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), he spent another three years conducting postdoctoral research at HUST and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (POLYU). Now, he works as an Associate Professor at HUST. He has presided as principal investigator on more than two research projects, including one Youth Science Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one General Project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and participated in one project of the National Key Research and Development Plan, and three NSFC projects. He is now the corresponding editor of the Journal of Netshape Forming Engineering. He has published more than 20 SCI-index papers in top journals, including Corrosion Science, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, and Intermetallics. Ghenadii Korotcenkov received his Ph.D. in Physics and Technology of Semiconductor Materials and Devices in 1976, and his Doctor Habilitate Degree in Physics and Mathematics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics in 1990. Long time he was a leader of scientific Gas Sensor Group and manager of various national and international scientific and engineering projects carried out in Laboratory of Micro- and Optoelectronics, Technical University of Moldova, supported from International Foundations and Programs such as CRDF, MRDA, IREX, ICTP, INTAS, INCO-COPERNICUS, COST, NATO.
