His research is focused on the application of nanotechnology and advanced materials, in the environment, analytical chemistry, and various industries. Dr Hussain is the author of numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals as well as being a prolific author and editor of around 50 scientific monographs and books in his research areas. He received his PhD degree in chemistry from Kuvemmpu University in 2012 and was a Postdoc Fellow from University of Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2014. His research interests focus on the fabrication of electrochemical sensors for the detection of biologically active molecules and the fabrication of binderless supercapacitors.
