Godet VSOP French Original Cognac, Aged 10 Years Oak Brandy 70cl 40% ABV

A Legacy Forged by the Atlantic: Godet V.S.O.P. Original Cognac. For over 400 years, the Godet family, true sea artisans, have crafted cognacs of distinction from their historic home in La Rochelle. Since 1588, fifteen generations have honed a savoir-faire deeply influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. This V.S.O.P. Original Cognac captures the essence of its coastal maturation and the rich terroir of the Cognac region. It is a liquid narrative of time, tradition, and the untamed beauty of the sea. A Sensory Journey: Floral, Fruity, and Oak-Kissed. The Godet V.S.O.P. Original offers a sensory journey, beginning with a delicate floral nose intertwined with the warm, inviting aroma of crushed hazelnuts. As it graces the palate, notes of luscious peach jam emerge, balanced by the subtle presence of dried oak. This creates a mellow and smooth flavour profile, culminating in a velvety persistence that lingers. Each sip reveals the care and artistry embedded in its creation, a true reflection of its distinguished origins and careful ageing. Crafted with Precision: Double Distilled and Aged with Mastery. Our V.S.O.P. Original Cognac is born from a tradition of double distillation, a technique honed over centuries by the Godet family. The eaux-de-vie are sourced from the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Fins Bois regions, ensuring depth and complexity of character. This fine French brandy is then aged for 4-9 years in French oak casks, a period that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements for a V.S.O.P. classification.
