Each programcommittee consists of a chair and members who are active researchersand authors of published books and papers in the field of genetic andevolutionary computation. Each program committee will establish itsown review criteria and policies and make the final decisionsconcerning papers submitted to it. These independent "demes" helpensure that the review process respects the diverse traditions andnorms of the various facets of genetic and evolutionary computation atthe same time it guarantees the acceptance of work of the highestcaliber.
