About the Author Ronald Ross Watson, PhD., is Professor of Public Health Research, School of Medicine, and Adjunct Professor, Department of Nutritional Sciences, University of Arizona, Tucson. He has conducted nutrition research in disease prevention and health promotion for more than 30 years, publishing more than 450 research papers, reviews, and chapters.
