Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is an elegant pure malt whisky blended from various single malts and finished in French oak wine casks. These casks impart floral and nutty notes with a sustained fruit character. The palate presents dark chocolate, ginger, and red apple, followed by a long oak spice finish. The whisky is aged in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and transferred to large Ovum wine casks, which add complexity to the spirit. Produced at the Chichibu Distillery, it is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a classic highball. PURE MALT WHISKY FINISHED IN WINE CASKS – Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a blend of single malts finished in French oak wine casks. These casks impart floral, nutty notes and a lasting fruitiness, creating a distinctive and refined Japanese pure malt.

ELEGANT AND RICH WITH DRIED FRUIT NOTES – This pure malt offers layers of red berries, candied citrus, and white flowers. A hint of pepper joins flavours of dark chocolate, ginger, and red apple, leading to a long, spicy oak finish.

LAYERS OF FLAVOUR FROM FRENCH WINE CASKS – Aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in rare Ovum wine casks from France, creating an incredible complexity to the whisky.

CRAFT WHISKY FROM JAPAN, FROM THE MAKERS OF CHICHIBU– Chichibu Distillery was founded in 2008 by Ichiro Akuto to continue his family’s brewing and distilling legacy. Located 100km from Tokyo, the distillery produces whiskies loved for their elegance, refinement, and the craftsmanship used to make them.

BEST ENJOYED NEAT – Best served neat or over ice to savour its complexity. For a refreshing twist, try it as a highball: one part whisky, four parts sparkling water.
