INSPIRED BY TRADITION: Akashi Single Malt is a round and elegant whisky distilled and blended by the Japanese distillery Eigashima. A whisky that combines Japanese tradition and Scotch production techniques.
100% MADE FROM MALTED BARLEY: Aged for 3 years in bourbon and sherry barrels, this single malt is neither chillfiltered nor colored, reveiling a delicate and smooth whisky with notes of vanilla, butter and sherry.
THE JAPANESE EXPERTISE : Distilled by the Eigashima distillery, the first one to ever obtain the distilling licence in Japan. The distillery relies on centuries of expertise acquired in the production of traditional japanese spirits such as Umeshu, Sake or shochu.
ACCELERATED AGEING : The specific climate in Japan, hot summers and cold winters allows Akashi whiskies to benefit from a more rapid aging, giving them complexity and richness in a short period of time.
CAN BE ENJOYED IN MULTIPLE WAYS : Can be enjoyed neat or the traditionnal Japanese way: in a highball glass with soda water and ice.
