The content of this book is written in Chinese. This preparation is based on the proficiency-based framework guided by the ACTFL proficiency guidelines and the Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century (5Cs) Courses at various levels; the National Standards for Foreign Language Learning were adopted to guide formulation of program goals and course design in general. Cognitive for the brain is continually processed information in different languages. Being bilingual has cognitive benefits. For example switching between two languages has been compared to mental gymnastics. Now research suggests that mastering two languages can fundamentally alter the structure of people's brains, rewiring it to work different than the brains of those who only speak one language. It is usually believed that language is used to express thought. Research shows that the language one speaks can shape the way one thinks. This question goes back centuries; Charlemagne proclaimed that "To have a second language is to have a second soul." Bilinguals are really a model of cognitive control. Pennsylvania State University cognitive scientist Judith F. Kroll told Quartz, citing bilinguals' ability to both hold two languages in their head and expertly switch between them at the right times. "Plan for Better Teaching" (PBT) is for Chinese language teachers to teach in the standards-based classroom. American Chinese teaching for the key concepts and examination issues related to curriculum development, instruction, and assessment. From them to practice in a lesson plan project, I will explain my idea skills and strategies to implement the standards in my America high school Chinese classrooms. All that thesis research shows that the languages spoken also shape the very thoughts we wish to express. If people learn another language, they inadvertently also learn a new way of looking at the world.
