Slane Triple Casked Irish Whiskey, 70 cl Slane Irish Whiskey is a smooth spirit of natural character with untamed notes of oak and spice from a signature triple casked blend. Smooth, complex and robust. Slane Irish Whiskey marries toasted grain and malt whiskeys with the distinctive flavours of each cask. Smooth with notes of oak and spice, each sip represents a journey through the wild countryside and the chance to uncover the subtle layers of the whiskey's complex character. A warm, golden topaz colour with hues of rich toffee. Nose is complex fruit with drizzles of caramel, butterscotch and vanilla; brown spice and toasted oak. Taste is spicy at first but quickly sweetened with rich caramel, vanilla and butterscotch atop a deep layer of dried fruit. Lingering hints of dry fruit and caramelised wood sugar finish. Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey, 70cl Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select is a small-batch bourbon from Kentucky. It is a straight bourbon made on Kentucky's oldest distillery site. The Woodford Reserve Distillery was established circa 1812 and is a National Historic Landmark in the bluegrass region of central Kentucky. Woodford Reserve is the only bourbon which is triple distilled in copper pot stills. It is then aged in charred American oak barrels in stone ageing warehouses. Rich, rounded and smooth, this bourbon has complex aromas of dried fruit, vanilla and tobacco spice, followed by flavours of toffee and spice with a long, warming finish. Woodford Reserve can be enjoyed on the rocks or makes an ideal ingredient for the classic Old Fashioned cocktail.
