Rhum Agricole from Martinique is distilled from pure sugarcane juice and produced according to the strict rules of the French AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée), testifying the premium quality and unique terroir of Martinique rum production. Fresh sugarcane is pressed then fermented and distilled to preserve natural aromas and flavors of terroir and the natural vegetal character of the sugarcane. 100% made from the aromatic free-run juice of sugarcane, not molasses. The aging is done in new French oak, new American oak or ex-American Bourbon barrels according to the cellar master needs. Clément 10 years was matured in oak barrels at Habitation Clément. During this period, this extra old rhum agricole obtained this beautiful mahogany colour and its distinctive voluptuous and round taste.
