Description
Key Features
THE ENGLISH DISTILLERY was the first registered distillery in over a century and remain at the forefront of the category. At a time when world-class whisky made in England was unthinkable, our father & son founders took a chance and kickstarted a category. Winning ‘World’s Best Single Malt Whisky’ in the World Whiskies Awards 2024 propelled the distillery into the world limelight.
As English Whisky pioneers, it was our dream and our responsibility to produce world-class whiskies - no gimmicks, no shortcuts - and that meant getting the fundamentals right first. The English Core range is exactly that - our Original, Smokey, Sherry Cask whiskies form the perfect foundation for our portfolio and your whisky collection. There's something for everyone you might invite to join you for a dram right here in this collection of exceptional award-winning whiskies.
The casks: Specially selected ex-bourbon casks bring subtle sweet & spicy notes, a richness on the nose and roundness on the palate
The nose: Gentle yet unmistakable, with notes of vanilla and tropical fruits
The palate: A beautiful balance of nuts, chocolate and zesty citrus that melts in the mouth
The finish: long and rich with malted barley - clean, dry, with the barest hint of salt
Non-chill filtered. Natural colouring.
