The generously sized table allows adults or children to sit comfortably in bed or a chair with a handy table nearby. This is the Modern Beech finish, Curved Wheelchair Base & Tilting Split Top version, with a shaped base designed for wheelchair users. Has a top that can be partly tilted which is ideal for reading, and partly stays fixed, ideal for a cup of tea. Ideal for users who spend a lot of time in a wheelchair or bed bound - it can assist with eating & drinking, for example somewhere to place a drink, eating a meal in front of the TV or enjoying a leisurely breakfast in bed. The overbed table also provides a generous tilting surface measuring 700 x 425mm (27.5 x 16.75) and a fixed surface measuring 195 x 400mm (7.75 x 15.75"). Ideal for reading, laptop or hobbies such as jigsaws & games. Features a ridge at the edge of the tilting table section, ideal for a book and also to stop objects such as pens from rolling off. This versatile table is the Curved Wheelchair Base version, and is height adjustable between 745 - 1055mm (29.25 - 41.5") using an easy lift system so that it can be raised by simply pulling it gently upwards with minimal finger pressure. This makes it easy for the user to adjust the table to their needs without using any fiddly controls. To lower the table top down again, simply use the lever at the side of the table and adjust to the required height, then release the lever. This large over bed / chair table is presented with a modern beech style top to suit most decor styles, and the top is finished in an easy to clean, non-absorbent surface. Features 55mm (2") diameter castors for improved manoeuvrability.
