Product Description This NRS EasyLift Overbed / Over Chair Table Beech N43553 Height Adjustable - Standard Base, Extra Low is ideal to use all around the home, especially in the bedroom or living room. The generously sized table allows adults or children to sit comfortably in bed or a chair with a handy table nearby. This is the Extra Low version, ideal for smaller users or lower beds. Ideal for users who spend a lot of time in a wheelchair or bed bound - it can assist with eating & drinking, for example somewhere to place a drink, eating a meal in front of the TV or enjoying a leisurely breakfast in bed. The overbed table also provides a generous flat surface measuring 88.5 x 39.5cm (34.75 x 15.5”) ideal for a laptop or hobbies such as jigsaws & games. Features integral ridges at the top and bottom of the table, to contain any spillage and also to stop objects such as pens from rolling off. This versatile table is the Extra Low version, and is height adjustable between 630 – 825mm (24.75 – 32.5”) using an easy lift system so that it can be raised by simply pulling it gently upwards with minimal finger pressure. This makes it easy for the user to adjust the table to their needs without using any fiddly controls, and also that if the bed raises accidentally, entrapment of the patient's legs is avoided. To lower the table top down again, simply use the lever at the side of the table and adjust to the required height, then release the lever. This large over bed / chair table is presented with a modern beech style top to suit most decor styles, and the top is finished in an easy to clean, non-absorbent surface with sealed moulded edges to offer protection against knocks and spills. Features 55mm (2") diameter castors for improved manoeuvrability. The NRS EasyLift Table range is also available separately in various different base and table top combinations to suit different user requirements.
