Maxivent fans offer quiet powerful performance in units equipped with auto shutters. These stylish, modern 150mm axial fans will blend comfortably with existing decor and are quick and easy to install. The shutters open when the fan is activated and close when the fan is turned off. Be aware there is a slight delay in the shutters opening and closing once the power is on and off. The surface of the fan is easy to wipe clean when the fan is off. They are the ideal solution for removing damp moist air, odours and airborne pollutants from kitchens and utility rooms.It extracts up to 72l/s 260mhr and has an IP rating of IP45. 230 volts/1ph/50-60hz.This humidity controlled Maxivent fan is activated when humidity reaches or exceeds the setting by up to 10%. When the humidity rises by more than 10% of what the fan has been set at, the fan boosts to the second speed. The fan will not run if humidity is below the setting of the fan. The fan can also be manually boosted to the second speed by using the integral pull cord.An externanl 3A fuse is required for each fan unit. The product is fully compliant with the following safety standards: CE2004/105//EMC Directives and LVD 2006 195/EC. Switches for fans should be selected and sited in accordance with BS7161:2008.
