Product Description This Völkel Hexagon Die Nut, manufactured from high speed steel (HSS), is a premium quality threading tool used for cleaning and repairing damaged threads. Die nuts are ideal for maintenance and repair. Manufactured to DIN 382, this die nut is for use with right handed threads. Die nuts are generally driven with a spanner across the outside flats of the die nut - see above for details on the width across the flats of this die nut. Please note that die nuts should not be used to make new threads (for cutting new threads, please look at the Völkel circular die range). It is recommended that a suitable cutting oil or lubricant is used with this product.
