Product Description F302 die nuts for metric coarse threads are manufactured from High Speed steel for superior performance and extended tool life and come in a range of sizes from M3 to M36. They have a bright finish which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool and means you get a cleaner, more accurate thread. F302 die nuts are designed to repair damaged external threads by re-cutting the original thread form. They should be held with the appropriate imperial size spanner and used by hand where they will create accurate screw threads to 6g tolerance. Manufacturer's Description Dormer F302 Hss Dienuts Metric Coarse 12.0 X 1.75 Pitch Dormer Dienuts are only used by hand and are hexagonal shaped for use by a spanner. Dienuts are used to reclaim damaged threads or to clean up existing threads. Metric Coarse Dienuts Application: For reclamation of screw threads. Tolerance : 6g Chamfer Lead : Two Threads Surface treatment : Bright Material : HSS - High Speed Steel BS1127:1950
