She has previously worked as an Assistant Director at Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, İstanbul, and as a Professor at the Faculty of Communication of Kocaeli University, Turkey. Her publications include Post ‘90s Turkish Cinema, A New Perspective in Turkish Cinema: Director’s Movies, A Portrait from Yeşilçam: Ayhan Işık, and Fikret Hakan: An Ageless Resident of Yeşilçam.
