About the Author Professor Nigar Pösteki is the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Kocaeli University, Turkey, where she is also the Head of the Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Faculty. She has previously worked as an Assistant Director at Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, İstanbul, and as a Professor at the Faculty of Communication of Kocaeli University, Turkey. Her publications include Post ‘90s Turkish Cinema, A New Perspective in Turkish Cinema: Director’s Movies, A Portrait from Yeşilçam: Ayhan Işık, and Fikret Hakan: An Ageless Resident of Yeşilçam.
