It can drive up to four bi-directional DC motors with individual 8-bit speed selection, or manage two stepper motors using single coil, double coil, or interleaved stepping. For projects requiring precision, the shield includes two interfaces for 5V servos connected to a dedicated high-resolution timer to ensure no jitter during operation. With the ability to run motors on a wide voltage range from 4.5V to 36V DC, this shield handles a variety of power needs. Each of the four H-Bridges provides 0.6A of current with a 1.2A peak, including thermal protection for added safety. Whether you are building a small rover or a complex automated system, this motor driver provides the control and power management needed for your electronic builds.
