The module operates on a logical voltage of 5V and accepts drive voltages from 5V to 35V, with a maximum driving current of 2A per bridge. Built-in large-capacity filter capacitors and freewheeling protection diodes ensure reliable performance and circuit protection. The onboard 78M05 voltage regulator can supply 5V logic power from the drive voltage when operating between 7V and 12V, though an external 5V supply is recommended for drive voltages exceeding 12V to protect the regulator. Compact at 43x43x27mm and weighing just 30g, this motor driver integrates seamlessly into space-constrained applications.
