Released to mark the centenary of John Culshaw's birth, this collection highlights his unique vision of the producer as an artist. Culshaw was a visionary who even predicted the rise of music streaming long before the digital age arrived. This extensive set offers a rare look into his early years from 1948 to 1955. Music lovers will find a treasure trove of historical recordings, including the first-ever studio recording of Barber's Adagio for Strings and the legendary 1951 and 1953 Bayreuth recordings. The collection also features unique finds like a lost tape of Clifford Curzon and Copland performing his own works.
