Description

The Audio-Technica AT897 is a line and gradient condenser microphone engineered for professional field audio acquisition in film, television, and broadcast production. At just 279 mm in length, this compact microphone remains discreetly positioned out of frame even when mounted on compact digital cameras, making it ideal for ENG/EFP work. The AT897 delivers smooth, natural-sounding on-axis audio quality with a narrow acceptance angle that excels at capturing long-distance sound pickup whilst rejecting unwanted off-axis noise. Its design prioritises the specific demands of video production environments where space is limited and audio clarity is paramount.

Key Features

The AT897 line and gradient condenser design provides a narrow acceptance angle essential for long-distance sound pickup in broadcast and film production.

At 279 mm in length, the AT897 stays out of frame when used with compact digital cameras and professional video equipment.
