The PB-05 E plugs between microphone and cable. It is equipped with an infrared sensor. The PB-05 E detects if someone is in front of the microphone and turns on the microphone. The distance can be adjusted between 15 cm and 100 cm with the help of the trim pot. The microphone will automatically shut off when no one is in front of the microphone. A red status LED indicates whether the microphone is on.
