The Puig 22297N Aileron mirror in black is an advanced aerodynamic solution that combines in a single piece the design of the lateral Downforce winglets with a compact and adjustable mirror, offering real improvements in stability and dynamic behavior both on the road and on the track. This model, intended for the left side, is machined from a block of high-quality aluminum and features an elegant black anodized finish that enhances its durability and premium appearance. Thanks to Puig’s extensive experience in high-level racing, including MotoGP and SBK, its design has been optimized through virtual wind-tunnel testing, generating up to 3 kg of additional pressure on the front end at 250 km/h, resulting in greater stability, improved cornering, reduced shimmies, and anti-wheelie effect during intense acceleration. The mirror incorporates a convex magnifying-effect lens to expand the field of vision and features an anti-reflective treatment to improve visibility under different lighting conditions. The mirror is integrated into the underside of the winglet, offering the lowest possible aerodynamic resistance. Additionally, the design allows for the optional addition of the TAB indicator (not included), which becomes fully integrated into the winglet base thanks to its compact size. This mirror is not homologated, and on motorcycle models where the indicator is integrated into the original mirror, installation implies losing that function, as it comes built into the OEM mirror.
