The Puig 22298N Aileron mirror in black is an advanced aerodynamic component that combines the lateral Downforce winglet with an adjustable mirror in a single piece, offering significant improvements in stability and dynamic behavior both on the road and on the track. Designed for the right side, it is machined from a high-quality aluminum block and finished with a black anodizing that guarantees resistance, durability, and a sharply defined sporty look. Developed through virtual wind-tunnel testing thanks to Puig’s experience in MotoGP and SBK, this mirror-winglet can generate up to 3 kg of additional pressure on the front end at 250 km/h, improving cornering, reducing shimmies, increasing stability in direction changes, and preventing front-wheel lift under strong acceleration thanks to its anti-wheelie effect. The mirror is integrated into the lower section of the winglet to minimize aerodynamic drag, and incorporates a convex magnifying-effect lens for wider visibility, along with an anti-reflective treatment that optimizes vision in different lighting conditions. The system is fully adjustable by hand to suit the rider’s needs. This mirror is not homologated, and on motorcycles where the indicator comes integrated into the OEM mirror, installation results in the loss of that function, although an optional TAB indicator can be added and fits perfectly into the winglet base.
