The Puig 22252N Aileron Black mirror is an innovative accessory that combines in a single piece the aerodynamic advantages of downforce-type side wings with the functionality of a compact, sporty mirror. Machined from a block of aluminum and anodized in black for an elegant and resistant finish, this mirror has been developed using virtual wind tunnel technology, based on Puig’s extensive competition experience in MotoGP and SBK. Its design significantly improves motorcycle stability on the road and track, generating up to 3 kg of aerodynamic load at 250 km/h, optimizing cornering, preventing shimmies, increasing stability during direction changes and reducing the wheelie effect during hard acceleration. At the lower end of the wing, the mirror is integrated to offer minimal aerodynamic resistance. It features a convex mirror with magnifying effect that broadens the field of vision, and an anti-reflective treatment to enhance safety in any situation. In addition, the mirror is easily adjustable by hand to suit each rider’s needs. As an optional feature, Puig offers the possibility to integrate a TAB indicator (sold separately) at the base of the wing, achieving perfect aesthetic and functional harmony.
