MINIMUM 10 YEARS TROPICAL AGING, PORT CASK FINISHED – A Panamanian rum from the XO Collection, distilled in column stills and tropical-aged for a minimum of 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels, then refined in Tawny Port wine casks. A true expression of craftsmanship and tradition.
RICH, LAYERED TASTING NOTES – Mahogany in colour with a nose of dark chocolate, nutmeg, and a touch of toffee. Silky and rounded on the palate with notes of stewed plums, raisins, and figs. The finish has a sweet entry and fruit-driven mid-palate, where the tawny port cask finish brings layered fruitiness and nutty elegance.
SOFT & BALANCED CHARACTER – The deep mahogany colour reveals sweet notes of dates, caramel, and vanilla. The nose is delicate and rich, offering fruity layers with hints of chocolate, ripe fruits, and toasted nuts. The finish is elegant, smooth, and gracefully sweet.
CRAFTED AT VARELA HERMANOS, PANAMA – Distilled using a multi-column still from molasses and aged using the vintage pallet system. Bottled at 40% ABV for a smooth, approachable sipping experience.
PORT CASK COMPLEXITY – The Tawny Port wine cask finish adds layers of dried fruit character and nutty elegance not found in standard bourbon-aged rums. Perfect for those seeking something beyond the ordinary.
