The GripGrab AquaShield 2 Gravel waterproof overshoes are a further development of the well-known GripGrab AquaShield, with a more robust design and more comfortable use. They are now available for both road bikes and in this Gravel variant. The zip-free design and anatomical cut offer a high level of comfort and waterproofing. Thanks to the stretch of the fabric, you can pull the overshoe up on your leg before putting on your cycling shoes. The cuff should sit just below the calf muscle so that the leg and sock are optimally protected. Then put on your cycling shoes, put on the overshoes and fix them under the sole with the fastener. The Gravel version of the AquaShield 2 overshoes combines PU-coated polyester with neoprene and Kevlar. The toe area is protected with a rubber insert to prevent damage when stopping and running, while the Kevlar under the forefoot creates extra strength. These two elements help protect the PU layer of the overshoe from damage caused by tyres, pedals and vegetation. The opening at the bottom is specially designed for Gravel shoes with small shoe plates such as the SPD system and shoe soles with studs.
