The waterproof GripGrab AquaShield 2 Gravel overshoes are a further development of the well-known GripGrab AquaShield, featuring a more robust design and greater ease of use. They are now available for road bikes as well as in this Gravel variant. The zipperless design and anatomical cut provide a high level of comfort and waterproofing. Thanks to the stretch of the fabric, you can pull the overshoe up your leg before putting on your cycling shoes. The cuff should sit just below the calf muscle so that the leg and sock are optimally protected. You then put on your cycling shoes, pull the overshoes over them and secure them with the hook-and-loop strap under the sole. The Gravel version of the AquaShield 2 overshoes combines PU-coated polyester with neoprene and Kevlar. The toe area is protected with a rubber insert to prevent damage when stopping and walking, while the Kevlar under the forefoot provides additional durability. These two elements help protect the PU layer of the overshoe from damage caused by tyres, pedals and vegetation. The opening on the underside is specifically designed for gravel shoes with small cleats such as the SPD system and lugged outsoles.
