Tulip 'Angelique' is a customer favourite, and it’s easy to see why! This award-winning variety produces exquisitely fragranced, double rosette blooms in the purest shade of pink, perfect for adding a romantic touch to borders, beds, or containers. The multi-layered petals open wide in the sunshine, revealing their full beauty and making them ideal for cut flower arrangements. These hardy tulips bloom in mid to late spring, standing tall at around 50cm (20") – just the right height to sway gently in the breeze without being too dominant. They are especially effective when planted in bold groups, allowing their colour and scent to shine. Tulip bulbs should be planted in late summer or autumn, in a position with full sun and well-drained soil. Avoid shallow planting, as tulips benefit from a winter chill to initiate flowering. Set bulbs 15cm (6") deep and 13cm (5") apart. After flowering, deadhead but leave the foliage to die back fully before removing. This helps feed the bulb for the next growing season.
