IDEAL FOR VINES: Principi di Butera covers 320 hectares with 170 planted with vines. The vineyards, nurtured with a coastal breeze, enjoy idyllic conditions for growing a variety of local grapes, used to create wines filled with sunshine

MERLOT: Must obtained from 100% Merlot grapes ferments in temperature-controlled vertical tanks for 2 weeks with the wine then being aged for 12 months in tonneaux and in Slavonian oak barrels. This is followed by a further period of ageing in the bottle

SOFT & COMPACT: A red wine with an intense garnet colour that has a broad bouquet with hints of berries melded with scents of vanilla. The palate is soft and compact with a long, lingering finish. Pair with cured and grilled meats, roasts or sharp cheeses
