Created in 1990 from an original recipe, Kendal Mint Cake Liqueur is the brainchild of Mike Pennington, who owned Burgundys Wine Bar & Brewhouse in Kendal for over 30 years. Taking inspiration from the legendary Kendal Mint Cake; famous for having been taken to the top of Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary, Mike used his mixing skills to create this alcoholic liqueur from the peppermint cake recipe blended with a hint of smooth chocolate. Applauded for its ultra clean, smooth and delicious blend of fresh mint and chocolate and loved for its authentic and unique take on the heritage of Kendal Mint Cake, it has become a favourite of locals and visitors to Kendal alike. We invite you to enjoy Kendal Mint Cake Liqueur as an apéritif, after dinner delight or simply on it’s own, preferably in the company of good friends!
