Giffard Menthe Pastille Creme Clear 24% 70cl Emile Giffard is a pharmacist in Angers, in the Loire Valley, but not a pharmacist like the others. Inventor, curious and fine gourmet, he carries out research on the digestive and refreshing virtues of mint. He thus developed a pure, transparent, refined white mint liqueur, which he tested with the customers of the Grand Hotel, his neighbor, to relieve them of the heat. The success is immediate. Emile then transformed his pharmacy into a distillery and baptized his liqueur Menthe-Pastille, in reference to the mint pastilles very fashionable at that time. Giffard Creme De Cacoa White Liqueur 70 cl Emile Giffard was a Pharmasist in the Loire Valley, and in 1855 he invented a mint liqueur that people absolutely adored so he changed his Pharmacy into Distillery. Today Giffard is still a family run business and their liqueurs have become a well know name in Restaurants and Bars.
