Tamiya presents the CC-02 chassis (Cross Country) now in the version with a Land Rover Defender 90 (1990) body. The CC-02 chassis has been modelled on the real off-road vehicles and has a frame chassis, cone differentials front and rear and a 4-link suspension. The rigid axle front and rear makes the model particularly off-road capable and the 4 CVA oil pressure shock absorbers perfectly absorb any unevenness. The drive is provided by a powerful 540 motor installed behind the front axle. This ensures good weight distribution when it comes to the terrain. Encapsulated to the motor is the gear box that transmits the power to the front and rear axles via movable cardan shafts. The body has the distinctive design of the Land Rover Defender 90 and is made of polycarbonate. In addition, Tamiya provided a separate front grill, side mirror and roll cage. The lamp inserts can be equipped with 5 mm LEDs – the light unit is included in the kit Safety Warning Please note: Before you start assembling, you should have read and understand all instructions.
