The Leopard 2A7V is one of the most modern battle tanks in the world and is used in numerous countries. The V stands for "improved" or rather "increased combat value". The improvements compared to the previous version are considerable: Better visibility thanks to the use of modern optics and camera systems. More firepower thanks to the revision of the 120 mm cannon. The communication system has been improved and the Battle Management System (BMS) is used. The chassis has also been reinforced with an additional protection module and an additional armour on the bow protects the tank better against armor-piercing ammunition. The original brings a stately 63.9 tons on the car and is powered by a 1500 HP engine. TAMIYA has now implemented this tank as a remote controlled version in 1/16 scale. Compared to the predecessor 56020 2A6, the electronics have been completely redeveloped and the model was reconstructed. The result is a real highlight: both in terms of detail and functions set standards in this area. The DMD T-12 can control all functions such as driving functions, tower rotation, light functions, noise and also the combination of sound, movement and light in e.g. cannon shots. Required accessories: 6-channel remote control (recommended Carson Reflex Wheel Stick), 1x steering servo, 1x switching servo, battery, charger, batteries for transmitter, colour. Safety Warning Before you start assembling, you should have read and understand all instructions. If a child assembles the model, a supervising adult should also have read the building instructions. Tools including knives are used when assembling the kit. Special care must be taken to avoid injury. If you encounter difficulties during assembly, ask an adult who supervises the work or a model maker with RC experience or specialist dealer. Only use tools for purpose. If used incorrectly, there is a risk of injury. If you use paints and/or glue (not included in the kit), follow the instructions provided there. Keep kit away from small children. Prevent children from putting any components in their mouth or pulling plastic bags over their heads.
