The Morakniv Wood Carving Double-Edge Hook Knife 162 features a tight curve, ideal for carving spoons, bowls, cups, or for any detailed relief carving. The double-edge blade has a 0.6-inch (16 mm) radius, and is suitable for both push and pull carving. An ergonomically designed, oiled birch wood handle is both comfortable and balanced. The blade is manufactured from top grade Swedish 12C27 stainless steel, and features excellent edge performance, razor sharpness, high hardness, and exceptional corrosion resistance. The Morakniv Wood Carving Double-Edge Hook Knife 162 is available with or without a leather sheath (made from Swedish vegetable-tanned leather). Blade length is 2.2 inches (55 mm), blade thickness is 0.08 inches (2 mm), overall length is 6.7 inches (170 mm), weight without sheath is 2 ounces (57 g), and weight with sheath is 4 ounces (117 g). Morakniv wood carving hook knives are well known for their quality and precision, appreciated by generations of craftspeople, and used to carve one of the most well-known Swedish symbols, the Dala horse.
