Description

Provides two high performance 16C550 UART RS-232 serial outputs The EX-44342 PCI-Express I/O card provides two high performance 16C550 UART RS-232 serial outputs. It is designed to extend two additional serial ports for PC, small workstation or server via the PCI Express Bus. The card is fully PCI-Express plug and play compatible and has no problems with IRQ and I/O address conflicts. In addition, +5V or +12V on pin 9 of the serial connector is configurable for a POS system (Power over System). The EX-44342 comes with a low profile bracket so that the card can also be installed in a slim PC case of 8cm. • Interface: RS-232 V.24 / FIFO Buffer: 16C550 with 16Byte • ±5kV IEC1000-4-2 ESD protection for RS232 I/O's • I/O addresses and interrupt is assigned by the operating system, IRQ sharing. • PCIe interface compatible with 1.0a to 3.0 specifications • Data bits: 5, 6, 7, 8. • Stop bits: 1, 1.5, 2 • Parity: none, even, odd, space, mark • Signals: TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, DCD, GND • Supports hardware and software flow control • Supports +5V or +12V to pin 9 of the serial connector
