UNIQUE AMERICAN WHISKEY AGED IN BOURBON CASKS – Michter’s US*1 Unblended American Whiskey is an extremely smooth whiskey that is unlike anything else coming from Kentucky. The whiskey is aged in Bourbon-soaked barrels unlike Bourbon and Rye which, by law, have to be aged in new oak casks. It doesn’t contain grain neutral spirits, hence its “unblended” distinction.

NOTES OF BUTTERSCOTCH, RIPE FRUITS AND VANILLA – Michter's US*1 Unblended American Whiskey is full of sweet fruity notes such as butterscotch, ripe fruits, maple syrup, cardamom and a hint of crème brulée.

AGED IN BOURBON-SOAKED OAK BARRELS – Michter’s barrels are of the highest quality and after the maturation of Michter’s 10 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon, the barrels are full of sweet, rich flavours. Many of the processes used to make Michter's cost more, from seasoning all wood for an extended period as well as the barrel entry proof being the lowest in the industry.
