Inspired by the original Yellow Spot and last bottled in the 1950s, Yellow Spot is the rare taste of a bonder's style Single Pot Still Irish whiskey. Rather than being simply a finished whiskey, Yellow Spot is special in that it contains single pot still whiskey that has been matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts and uniquely, Spanish Malaga casks. Bottled at 46 percent ABV, the influence of the Malaga cask brings an exotic sweet note to the whiskey making it a truly delightful taste experience.Aromas of mown hay, cracked black pepper, nutmeg, clove oil and green tea. Sweet honey and peaches from the Malaga casks. Pot still spices, honey and red apple combine with flavours of creme brulee, fresh coffee and toasted oak. Sophisticated and complex with a distinctive honeyed character and a mix of red grape and dry barley on the finish. While Green Spot is often described as tasting like green apples, Yellow Spot is more in character with juicy red apples. Sophisticated and complex in character.

Yellow Spot is special in that it contains whiskey that has been matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types : American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts, and Spanish Malaga casks.

The Malaga cask brings an exotic sweet note to the whiskey making it a truly delightful taste experience. Limited quantities of Yellow Spot have been bottled making it a whiskey to savour.
