Key Features
The KARL GÜDE series was created as a classic knife series in memory of the founder of the GÜDE knife manufactory. The knives, forged from one piece, have a narrow bolster. The handle is made of ash with brass rivets.
As one of the last German knife manufacturers, GÜDE relies on perfect craftsmanship. The sharpening rod is made of alloyed tool steel (chrome vanadium), stainless and hard-chrome plated.
Regular resharpening with a sharpening steel maintains the extreme sharpness of GÜDE knives. Sharpen your knives regularly with the sharpening steel and the joy of a sharp knife will never leave you.
Thanks to its 32 cm long honing surface, all types of knives can be honed on the sharpening steel. The hard chromium-plated steel ensures that the knife's cutting edge straightens up, keeping the knife sharp.
In 1910, KARL GÜDE laid the foundation for the knife manufactory in Solingen, which is now known all over the world. A family business that has set the highest standards for generations - that is tradition, passion and heart.
