About the Author Prof. Xinjun Chen Dean of College of Marine Sciences Shanghai Ocean University He is also deputy director of the National Ocean Fisheries Engineering and Technology Research Center, director of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education for the Sustainable Development of Ocean Fisheries Resources, director of the key laboratory of ocean fisheries development of the Ministry of Agriculture, director of the China Ocean Fisheries Data Center, and head of the squid fishing technology group of the China Ocean Fisheries Association. He also serves as a member of the Fisheries Group of the Sixth and Seventh Subject Review Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and associate Editor of Canadian Journal of Fisher and Aquatic Sciences, and editorial board of Aquaculture and Fishery.
