He is also an adjunct professor at National Taiwan University, National Yang-Ming University and Taipei Medical University, and a distinguished research fellow at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. He serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, including the Journal of Molecular Medicine, and Pathogens and Disease. Prof. Hsieh’s research chiefly focuses on C-type lectins and Siglecs in host-pathogen interactions, neuroinflammation, and tissue repair. He has published more than 140 articles and book chapters in these fields.
