Diese Situation ist seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten in der Provinz vorherrschend, die von einer beispiellosen Sicherheitsunsicherheit geplagt wird; geklont durch die Mobilisierung der Identität zusammengesetzter Gemeinschaften vor dem Hintergrund einer Integrationskrise, die den soziopolitischen und wirtschaftlichen Interessen der Unternehmer der Ursachen dient. Dies hält die Frustrationen zwischen homogenen Gruppen am Kochen, die seit Jahren das identitäre Territorium der ethnischen Gruppen bedecken, die zwischen den Imaginationen "autochthon" und "allochthon" zerrissen sind. Die Frage der Gewalt in Nord-Kivu ist in der Tat in ihrer Allgemeinheit eine Analyse des Überflusses, die manchmal von emotionalen Reaktionen auf die groß angelegte Gewalt beherrscht wird, die von Bildern der Opfer von Zusammenstößen zwischen ethnischen Gruppen, Plünderungen von Eigentum sowie von Morden, die von ethnischen Selbstverteidigungsgruppen begangen werden, beglaubigt wird.
