Les plantes médicinales sont considérées comme une source essentielle de matière première pour la découverte de nouvelles molécules nécessaires au développement de futurs remèdes. Parmi ces plantes, nous trouvons Urtica dioica (L.), Pelargonium graveolens, Taxus baccata (L.), Artemisia herba alba asso, Dysphania ambrosioids (L.) et Daucus carota (L.) ssp. carota qui ont des activités pharmacologiques variées telles que des effets antibactériens, antioxydants, analgésiques, anti-inflammatoires, antiviraux et anticancéreux.Dans le présent travail, nous nous sommes intéressés à la valorisation de ces plantes, récoltées dans la région de Meknès-Maroc, par différentes analyses telles que : l'analyse thermique et gravimétrique (ATD/ATG), la chromatographie en phase gazeuse couplée à la spectrométrie de masse (GC/MS) ainsi que l'étude de l'inhibition de la corrosion écologique de l'acier en milieu acide chlorhydrique 1M par les extraits aqueux et éthanoliques par gravimétrie, électrochimie, chromatographie liquide haute performance (HPLC) et microscopie électronique à balayage (MEB/EDX), et d'autre part l'évaluation de leurs activités antioxydantes par deux méthodes DPPH et CAT.
